They just don't care that much, especially about football. Don't really blame them all that much. It's a farce.

But anyhow, the only time I really saw them trying was in response to Virginia Tech's success. THAT motivated them to upgrade Scott and go out and spend money on a couple of pretty well paid coaches. They got into the recruiting game pretty heavily w/ Groh and then Longdon too. However, losing 13 straight to VT has caused them to tap out.

It's a dang shame VT hasn't been able to capitalize in the recruiting game more.
