Looking at Jerry palm seeding. The NCAA like to put certain teams they're would like to see play which adds interesting twists.

Right now Iowa state is a high 7 (just above tech)
They play a high 4 seed wvu. Say wvu winds up winning the b12. They probably would be a three seed. Iowa state drops below us. So we aren't top 7 seed in his bracket.

Right now maquette is a 10 seed.

If this was the rankings by the committee could see them setting up a 6 seed vt vs a 10 seed Marquette.

The winner could get a wvu team for a sweet 16 birth.

A wvu / tech game would have lots of story lines.
A wvu / Marquette game would be old big east story lines.

If his was really the seeding the worked from could see some interesting subplots to that bracket.
