I had no idea this was how that rank was calculated. I just assumed it used the combined RPI of the opponents.

As an aside, it's ridiculous how much the wins and losses of teams we played months ago might affect tournament entry/seeding. I was way more upset by last night's Michigan loss than is reasonable.
