redshirt next season? My initial thought is 'no - why would you redshirt one of a handful of national top 100 recruits you have had in the last ten years?'. However, there is a chance ... assuming everyone stays healthy (I'll pause while waiting for the laughter to stop .....) ... that there may not be enough minutes to make it worth playing him.

First, in an ideal world, we wouldn't be playing JRob and Allen together as much simply due to the defensive challenges that leads to. Neither have the size to effectively guard a bigger wing. Second, Tyree Jackson and Devin Wilson will both be back to provide minutes at the 1 ... even some at the 2 for DW since he can guard. Considering JRob will most likely play 25-30 minutes most nights, there aren't a ton of remaining minutes. Third, we will still have Hill, Bibbs, Alexander-Walker and some minutes from Clarke at the wing spots. If Seth LeDay and PJ Horne provide some minutes at the 4, Clarke could slide to a 3 depending on who is at the 1 and 2.

Of course, all this becomes a worthless discussion if Bede turns out to be our second best lead guard OR if one of the other guys busts a metatarsal or two.

Nice to have options though. Amazing that in 3 years the roster could get so much better.
