Frankly, it's more likely that WVU would leave the Big 12 for the ACC and would jump at the chance if offered.

I do agree that the Big 12 needs to work on making its footprint a little more even. Frankly, they need to get to at least 12 schools. Adding Memphis will give them another eastern school and would add another solid basketball school. Houston would be a smart offer as well. If they are adamantly against adding Houston due to not expanding the footprint, then they should look towards adding Cincinnati.

Adding Memphis and Cincinnati gives WVU two more eastern counterparts, adds two large TV markets and helps to truly expand the conference's profile (rather than having WVU as a pure outlier like they are now).
