chaps me is not only were the broken promises but in my particular situation, the timing of my gift. I have currently made two 10K pledges towards my 50K obligation. So basically my first pledge was in 2015. There is no way someone can convince me that in 2015 that this "new" program wasn't being thrown around because it was rolled out in 2016. At no time was I ever told, "Oh, by the way, we are thinking about changing the program such that this Golden Champion level will no longer exist." Because if they did, my checkbook would have closed real quick.

I can even recall asking them, what is to keep you from raising the $500 maintenance fee to say $5000. Their response, "We would never do such a thing to our best supporters."

I will fulfill my obligation and continue to get football/basketball seats, but I will not donate one penny more than is required to get those tickets. Like I said earlier, I wish I could have remained that cool.
