Days ago Bronco helped us understand that the staff was not just going to fill holes. This is a long term process in which the health of the organization is paramount.

Yesterday, Bronco finally laid down the final card in his hand, and it explains all. The brilliance is undeniable! It is ****gaps*** that must be filled, not holes.

At the Firm we had some associates stay late last night to do research for our consultancy to the PenFed lawsuit, but also to decipher the brilliance of this new strategy.

For years our rival organizations such as UNC and Harvard have attempted to fill holes. Our research turned up some very interesting things that no one has known before. The etymology makes it clear:

Hole O.E. hol "orifice, hollow place." As a contemptuous word for "small dingy lodging or abode" it is attested from 1616. Meaning "a fix, scrape, mess" is from 1760. Obscene slang use for "vulva" is implied from 1340. Hole in the wall "small and unpretentious place" is from 1822; to hole up first recorded 1875. To need (something) like a hole in the head, applied to something useless, first recorded 1951.

Gap 1261, from O.N. gap "chasm," related to gapa "to gape." Originally "hole in a wall;" broader sense is 16c. In U.S., common in place names in ref. to a break or pass in a long mountain chain (especially one that water flows through).

Holes refer to vulvas, small and unpretentious places, and something useless. These can't possibly refer to our vaunted football program. So Bronco went in search of answers. As he revealed, and you can plainly see, at UVa we have gaps, chasms, breaks in the mountains that water flows through.

And now that we know what we are facing we can attack the problem head on, in only the fashion that an audacious and fearless leader such as Bronco can do. Sorry, Gobblers, we are now ahead of you in this arms race!
