With me it's pretty straightforward - I give at this level, I get benefits. The giving level might change but as long as I give at a certain level my benefits are spelled out. If I quit giving, I lose benefits.

With the Champions though, the who thing was based around a combo of present benefits that come from annual giving, and FUTURE benefits that come from accrued giving. So I don't see how there couldn't be a contract between donor and VTAD that spelled this out - especially the future benefits part. Otherwise you could get to the end and SURPRISE! 'We really didn't mean what we said.'
