This is how I read it also. More like eyes wide open. Be aware

Once upon a time, younger generations looked up to and tried to absorb the wisdom of those that came before them. Oh how I long to return to those days. This gentlemen said here is my experience, please know this is the deal before getting involved. If he wants to not move to bburg because of it, I'm disappointed by the so many who said surely you can't want to cancel retirement plans because of that, you're so silly. His life, his money, his choice.
I don't know if people are irked because of signing day or what but please be more peaceable than to openly mock someone who was giving his opinion by laying out his heart on here.
Good night. What happened here is whit realized we were at the limits of winning with the coaches we had and went out and hired more expensive (to some better) coaches. And we all said great, love the moves keep going. And there were some that said but how will we pay for it? And there were people like me that said, don't worry, there's a plan at work here! Well this is the plan and like it or not, it has been set in motion and it may not change. If we're going to go with it, I can only hope it works.
The bigger question I have is were the only two options the old way and this new plan? Could some hybrid option not have been put in place to recognize lifetime giving with an eye on future contributions? Whose model did we borrow and why is it the best choice in our case?
In closing, let's be kinder to each other instead of mocking our elders, please.

Thank you, don't forget to tip your waiter.
