Eh it's a crap situation all the way around. I can understand being

angry that someone lied to you. I can also understand being a teenager and having adults make promises on your behalf and feeling like you have to keep those promises. If Tahj had just told our coaches "I'm going to take a visit as a courtesy but I'm still a Hokie" or if we had taken a deep breath, let the situation cool down, and not rescinded the offer then everything would have probably been fine.

Instead we lose a recruit and damage our connection to an important in-state high school and Capehart ends up at Maryland where he didn't really want to be, playing for a mediocre (if that) program with recruiters disguised as coaches who will probably be gone before Capehart graduates. And of course there's all the work Burden's put into repairing our reputation in the area. It sucks on multiple levels and like most situations there's plenty of blame to go around.
