Agree some of the posts last night were sad. Tech shot 59.1% for the game


which is the best they have done in an ACC game this season. BC shot 44%. They were out rebounded on the offensive glass 12 to 1 but theoretically if VT shot 100% they would have no offensive rebounds. Shooting close to 60% will limit the opportunities for offensive rebounds.

Size down low is still hurting them because it is forcing them to play zone and help out when the bigs get the ball down low, which allows the opponents to kick out and get a good look at an open 3. It is not as easy as someone should be guarding that guy. What are the odds a career 8.0 ppg player is going to go off like he is Larry Bird. It is what it is without a quality big like Blackshear guarding the paint. Sy is still a year away and should bulk up in the off season.

I think Williams should have gotten some more size and I think he also knows that but still he has done one hell of job here and the complaining is laughable considering where we were 3 years ago.
