Regarding Jerod's decision, I've opined aplenty but I think there

are really two deciding factors to consider.

(1) Does an immediate financial payout (likely $300-500k) trump all else for Jerod and his family?
If so, going now could be the right decision. If not -

(2) Does Jerod truly believe he can, and is willing to put in the work to become an NFL QB?
If so, staying another year is the right decision. If he stays and works his butt off at mechanics, footwork, progressions, timing on longer passes, and reading defenses, he has the skills to give himself a chance at becoming a multi-year player in the NFL. Rather than getting a one time payment, he has a chance to earn $300K a month. But getting there will take A LOT of hard work and obviously still would have no guarantee.

Jerod strikes me as a guy with a lot of self-confidence and as a diligent worker. I'm betting when this is all said and done, he chooses the latter.
