I will weigh in that MY "unpaid internship" led directly to MY first job. A job I'd have NEVER gotten straight out of college because I hadn't proven myself anywhere...

I'm THANKFUL for my "unpaid internship"...and I bet there are plenty of athletes (ESPECIALLY the ones who don't cash NFL checks) who are thankful for theirs as well....

Oh, and the ones who WILL cash NFL checks can be just as thankful for the exposure and opportunity to SHOW they could do "the job" (basically, in my field, the same opportunity it gave ME).

As you can tell..I AIN'T buying this BS of unpaid internship and the poor pitiful exploited players!
