A few thoughts heading into tomorrow's game:

1. Leday did a much better job in the second half, but it can't be a human black hole when it goes into the post. I have no problem with him looking for his shot, but do it like he did in the second half; blowing by bigger slower defenders and dunk it. When it's a post entry, he has the mentality that he MUST attempt a shot. This isn't VMI or High Point. Michigan has legit size with skill. He needs to look opposite for open shooters. And there should never be any half of basketball where leday takes 3 threes in one half.

2. Get Hill going early. When Hill scores, the overall energy/intensity level of the team/game increases tremendously. Look at the second half of TA&M, and first half of Nebraska. Hill wasn't getting shot opportunities or scoring. The 3 that he hit in the corner vs Neb completely re-energized us. Then his monster dunk. When he scores, for whatever reason, it amps us up. We can't have a first half agasint Michigan with him taking 2 shot attempts and scoring 0 points and expect to win.

3. Robinson-Hill are getting the job done as a 1-2 punch in the backcourt. If we're being honest, I sense that Allen, being in his last year of college bball, feels like he has to get "his" sometimes. His shot selection is awful sometimes. I don't think he's necessarily selfish or disliked by his teammates or anything like that, he just forces it way too much sometimes. He has done better defensively this season though in my opinion.

4. Bibbs. He is what he is. A spot up shooter. He doesn't give us a threat to drive to the hole and opposing defenses are guarding him that way. Robinson, hill, and even Allen are a legit threat to do both. What hurts us the most with bibbs though is defense. More so from an intensity standpoint. With that said, I still think he should start bc he can knock down 3s at such s high %..and with hill&bibbs on the wings, it stretches the defense.

5. Sy/Hamilton...we've gotta figure something out here. I have no clue. Against Neb it was understandable buzzs gameplan was to go small. But against Michigan/ACC teams, we gotta forgive out a solution to get them on the floor more.
