Have kids, 7 and 10, that play a variety of youth sports. Also enjoy coaching the younger levels before the get into travel scenarios with paid coaches.

It is intense, likely much more than it was when I was coming up in late 70's early 80s. This is from training, standings published on internet, formal playoffs and tourneys. It is all about the tailoring experience for the enjoyment and development of the kid, some want the competitive levels others do not.
