I certainly have gotten caught up in thinking about what could have been with this team and that lost to SU, but this VT team, at 7-2, has to have exceeded most rational fans expectations. There is major depth issue for running this new system. Mainly at WR. When you have 5 wideout sets with Peoples and Rodgers as two of your pass catching options you are still struggling to find pass catchers behind our top players. That being said, the team is 7-2!! I certainly had to step back after yesterdays game and remind myself of that after some questionable play calling and some really bad tackling on defense. VT controls its own destiny for getting into the ACC Title Game with 3 games to go under a first year head coach. I still don't love tempo/spread systems but have been impressed by what the new staff has accomplished this year. Go Hokies!
