Since the Vols are adored at every level of the media in-state what was said on this show was a little non adoring. I admit to never watching any of the Vol weekly lovefest, especially during football season but the local football show was a reversal to the normal love.

The panelists mentioned, uniformly, that the clock was ticking for Butch, especially for assistants and more than casual mention was made to Hurd being not involved (to the same extent ex VT QB transfer was in '15) and not returning for the next season.

Add to this, there will be a new AD on the scene shortly (hopefully someone as incompetent as the current one) and Butch's lack of regard for the justice system and what may be his loss of team control maybe he will be gone, sooner than expected.
