Virginia Tech ’16 signee Silas Dzansi didn’t enroll over the summer, instead he is spending his fall at Fork Union Military Academy working on his academics before enrolling at Virginia Tech this winter. As a prep school prospect, Dzansi is a recruitable player that can be added to the ’17 class.

The former Woodbridge, VA/C.D. Hylton 260-pound athletic defensive end has added forty pounds since his senior year of high school and the 6-foot 6-inch, 300-pounder will suit up as an offensive tackle when he enrolls at Virginia Tech.

247Sports has given Dzansi a four-star rating at prep school. He was rated a three-star prospect out of high school, where 247Sports Director of Scouting Barton Simmons fell in love with his athleticism.

It's rare to find an offensive tackle with the kind of frame and athleticism that Dzansi has. Finding those bodies that can move is the hard part. If he's a hard worker, coaching him up becomes the easy part.
