I really don't think the outcome of our UVA game later this year can have an impact on our predictions for this game now.

Look, I don't believe in a "curse" either ,if that's your only point.

That said, you can't really deny the fact that Pittsburgh has been playing us much better than was predicted at the time of the game for the past 15 years. And these games weren't in week 2 or 3. And it wasn't just Hokie fans doing those predictions

So you shouldn't easily dismiss every reason that might be the case. And dismiss the idea that there is some reason for that.

..and you probably shouldn't then dismiss the idea that it may continue to be so - until it isn't so.
