Since it was from memory, I checked after I posted. Remember that the rankings listed are for after the season is complete. All I'm saying is that Pitt played us much tougher than their records indicated they should have. That's not fiction or misperception by the folks here with the memories

in 2001, they were 2-5 with wins over Temple and ETSU when they spanked us. We were 6-1.

In 2002, we were undefeated, they were 4-2 and the only "quality" win they had was in OT over a 4-2 BC.

in 2003 they were improved 6-2, and we were still favored at 7-1.
