The people who don't think rankings matter, I wonder what they are thinking. Ask Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson if they think it helps to be hanging out in the top 5 all the time. Of course it does.

We used to be able to sell being a top 10 team to recruits. That's when we got Michael Vick, Kevin Jones, Eddie Royal, Bryan Randall, Xavier Adibi, Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Williams, etc.

It would be nice to get back to that point.
