Took a tour of Notre Dame's stadium today

In South Bend this week for training/conference and had a couple hours to kill. My buddy and I signed up for a stadium tour and it ended up just being the two of us for this particular time slot. Because it was just the two of us, our guide was able to show us around to several of their athletic facilities besides the stadium, which was really cool. The history oozes out of this place, but at the same time they are doing a massive construction project that will add a lot of building space to their stadium, but no extra seats. Was able to tour the locker room, got to tap the Play Like A Champion Today sign and then go out onto the field. The vast majority of the seats are ancient wooden bleachers - splinter alert for those of you who will be attending the game. Our guide was well-versed on CFB's career and had nothing but kind words for our program - the guy was super classy. The campus is very pretty. For those of you who are attending the game, you're in for a treat. After I leave SB I'll put up a post about the best restaurants/bars I found while I was here. I'm staying at the DoubleTree, which is a nice hotel for those who are looking for a place to stay.
