Re: SIR but I am angry with the Teller situation

It's hard to disagree with anything said. There is obviously a issue between Teller and the coaches. Fuente's lips were clear after the 2nd penalty - "take (or get) him out". He was not ejected. It is difficult to comment on what might be going on between him and the coaches with facts, so I won't any further in that regard. From a different perspective, I can't help but to believe Teller may be significantly frustrated. He was the No. 59 overall prospect in the country and the No. 6 strong side defensive end in VA. He was recruited to play defense. The kid obviously likes to hit people, but he was moved to the offensive line. He seemingly wasn't moved to offense because he had a strong history playing there. He was moved mostly because he had the raw skills to help address a major gap created by the coaching staff in that position over several years. The recruiting failure in this position put the program in a hole for years. Gone are the days when we can pick up a 3rd and 1 routinely. Teller obviously likes to hit people, which has to be tempered on the offensive line. Conversely, I can't help but to envision him wreaking havoc on opposing offenses from the defensive line. Whatever the outcome, the current situation is seemingly unfortunate for a talented football player with NFL aspirations.
