That are not informed on VT football. 10-20 years from now there will be plenty of VT alumni who will not know VT played in that game. If they do see a replay they're going to be wondering what that is we have on.
It is what it is. No big time recruit is picking a school based on the color of our uniform for a particular game. Hasn't worked that way in the past and will not start now.
Will some people and recruits like the look? Sure, I just don't really see the purpose for it because it's not giving us any type of an edge at all.
With that being said, I don't think it destroys our national reputation. If we get beat down it may help because they may not know who we are 😉
