Watching some of the top recruits in 2017/2018 talking about VT the way they are with each other on social media right now is more proof that recruiting diff sides of the ball are not mutually exclusive. Having a top LB and RB in 2018 saying "VT is a movement" goes to show how invigorated VT's recruiting efforts are.

Elite recruits are definitely looking at VT in a new light that we haven't seen before in this new era of recruiting. Let a guy like Tremaine Edmunds play at Good Counsel or IMG and he is just as highly rated as Bruce Taylor or more. The staff definitely needs to put a stout product on the field to harness all this excitement and I have confidence Bud is just as capable as ever. Fuente has stated he thinks Bud has found himself more energized than he's been in a long time. Makes sense now that he may finally have an effective counterpart
