But you're arguing that it is required. What other are saying is it's not always required.
Alabama is known for having one of the top OL's in the country.
Memphis and Alabama both scored 37 points on Ole Miss. 24 of those points for Alabama was in the 4th Ole Miss was up by 20. Sure it's one game, but it's a common game.
I wouldn't argue that Memphis OL = Alabama OL. But I would argue Memphis had a lot of success with an inferior OL.
