Vt will be just fine--- thank you
The model for finanoing big time sports has changed - and vt must increase number and amoint of donation- vt financial model was antiquated and great for a g-5 or division 1aa program not for a p5 school-
Within the next 2 years/ the number of season tickets will reduced but net contributions will increase -the gap in season tickets will be replaced by general public purchases -this makes the the program much more financially stable -
At the university level - vt is evolving - going to 35000 and major new hybrid avademic research villages funded by joint public private resources-
The university like Other major universities have to change how they get resources to get the bigger bang-
This realignment to the hokie club should have been done years ago- now we are moving to 21st century model- for many who are looking where is my va tech of the past - things have evolved and ensures the university remains competitive and a leader in all arenas -
Remember vt peers are not the odu vcu of the world - it's mich state penn state a&m Cornell Purdue Illinois
