That question was asked at the town hall in RVA. People can still give to specific areas of athletics if they want, and it would count for their overall cumulative giving/priority, but it can't be counted towards the annual seat fee minimum.

So, if you don't get seats anyway, then you're unaffected by this. For me, I used to give my money to the swim team. Under the new system, I have to give it to the Hokie Scholarship Fund (or pay the seat fee on top of my donation).
