But like I said. They're professionals. They have a brand. Buzz chooses his words carefully, as he should. He chose them carefully when the season ended, he chose to not have them at all for awhile there because there was nothing he COULD say that WOULDN'T be a lie, so he did the professional thing and chose not to speak instead of lieing.

The key here is it was VERY clear that buzz was not the "listener" but the aggressor. Everyone is right, true details of what was said and when etc. will never be known outside of the parties involved, but I personally trust the bball people who have said Buzz was the driving force in pursuing those jobs, NOT sitting back and seeing if they make an offer he can't refuse - those were jobs he VERY much wanted to land. and he knew it was coming by the time the season ended, and played it out to the max and didn't get the job and immediately went back to crushing it at his current employer.
