Am I correct in that, if I have 4 seats in section 16.... I need to pay $600 per seat, in addition to the normal ticket prices? If so, holy sh!t..

I get that the Hokie Club has to raise money, that funding scholarships, and remaining competitive in the big business of college football is the #1 priority.. but wow, that is a HUGE change. Evidently that office has been asleep at the wheel for some time now...

I'm all for giving a little extra to benefit VT... but $2400 extra per year, on top of the tickets!? I'm sure there are plenty of people that can afford that, and will do so willingly... I for one, cannot.. not with 4 kids etcetc. I know my dad a season ticket holder of 45+ straight years, cannot at this point in his life hand out that kind of $. Maybe this will bring in a lot new, younger, Hokie alumni.. but I see it turning a LOT of people away, not because they don't love the Hokies.. but because it's a considerable expense.

I can see a minimum giving amount per season ticket holder for a given section, the better sections requiring higher donation/hokie club level.. this model they've introduced though. it's like the hokie club went from doing very little, to putting the gas pedal through the floor.
