In my scenario I am assuming that a Hokie Club member donates (including the seat fee) to be eligible to sit in the $200 zone. However, because the Hokie Club member's ranking is low, then all those seats are sold out when it comes time for the Hokie Club member to either pick or have the Hokie Club assign the seats. So essentially the Hokie Club member's seats are already in the $100, $50, or $0 zones. If the Hokie Club member wants tickets in the $200 zone, then that member would need to figure out how much more to give to move up the rankings far enough to be able to select those seats. The member's ranking may be low enough where that member may need to double or even triple the contribution to move up far enough in the ranking.

You have to keep in mind the zones are for example purposes only because I think that scenario may be applicable for all the zones (excluding club seating). Also, it may not be an issue the first couple years since VT has had a surplus of seats available.
