The folks that are truly benefitting are coaches, univ administrators, shady 'agents, and select 'boosters'. For the most part, players benefit very little in a purely athletic context. As has been stated before on this board, there should be a football/basketball major that the big schools create. The kids that choose this literally play the sport....who cares what grades, etc. If the kid does not cut it professionally in that endeavor, so be it (the vast majority of scholarship athletes do not make a living from their athletics).

Just take the lying out.

Now, as for the $$...there is no way to take the $$ out....plain and simple
