What we've lacked at VT on Offense in recent years is a cohesive structure.

When VT brought in the replacement & shuffling of offensive coaches to replace some longtime successful coaches. Basically, these coaches from 2010 to 2015 were not on the same page & hadn't truly worked together as a unit.

Scot Loeffler (2015, 2014, 2013) Bryan Stinespring (2012, 2011, 2010)

Running Backs Coach
Shane Beamer (2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011) Billy Hite (2010)

Offensive Line Coach
Stacy Searels (2015, 2014) Jeff Grimes (2013) Curt Newsome (2012, 2011, 2010)

Quarterbacks Coach
Scot Loeffler (2015, 2014, 2013) Mike O'Cain (2012, 2011, 2010)

Wide Receivers Coach
Zohn Burden (2015), Aaron Moorehead (2014, 2013) Kevin Sherman (2012, 2011, 2010)

The Defense had basically worked together for years under Bud. The difference was significant.
