Stop making this into a flame - it's a positive

I don't have a "source" that "told me something"

I'm going off public facts and using common sense.

And if you all want to play this he-said she-said game I could cite rev zeke????

But I'm saying just take the wool from off your eyes and think about real life for a second!

He did what he did, the way he did it, BECAUSE, he knew that he genuinely was intending to pursue those jobs to his fullest extent and wasn't going to sit there and LIE when asked about it, he eloquently answered the question. Just one example. This didn't "pop up" ...

It's a business ... keep that in mind, always.

We are still in business with Buzz, and that is a VERY good thing for the short-term future of our basketball program IMO. Enjoy it! But I think everyone would benefit from not doing this yo-yo act of, one day this board is blowing up with buzz venom, the very next day back to talking about the genuine holiness of his character -

when we'd all be served by realizing the truth is inbetween, the guy is not a liar or a crook (like people were calling him for a few days BEFORE HE EVER DID ANYTHING except go MIA on twitter?) ... and the guy is also not some transcendent savior to the young men he's recruited who will never abandon them ... both concepts are equally ridiculous ...

Buzz is going to do exactly what he says - what's best for his family. What more could you ask for? We don't know exactly what will entail, ever, and we don't know how that will change over the coming months or years - things always change over time - but just now recently, that included Buzz nearly landing a job in the Big 12. And he knew he was going to be interviewing for these jobs (and trying to do his damndest not just to land them, but to land them with as favorable of a contract as possible as well) ... and we should not blame him!!

If we want a big-boy college basketball program, get used to this. The good far outweighs the bad :) no need to window dress it, I think if everyone can appreciate what happened here and be more educated about the realities associated with the college basketball coaching profession and this particular situation? Then MAYBE people will cope/comprehend better in the future?
