Do you know if there are grandparents/siblings in the Texas/Oklahoma area? If that would have been a consideration earlier, I don't think he would have come to Blacksburg.

I'm betting his professional career is probably one of the leading factors in his decisioning, and he chose VT so he could step up to ACC competition (although you could argue he was in deep cotton when the Big East was in full bloom).
