It's very unlikely that VT will slip below GT, who VT has a one game lead and tiebreaker advantage over. GT's remaining games are @ Louisville and vs. Pitt, so they'd have to win both and have VT lose out.

Taking GT out of the equation, VT is one of six teams that could finish with 9 or 10 wins, and I can't even begin to do the projections and tiebreakers there.

So VT should at worst finish in 9th place. Seems most likely that VT will play in the opening round 2 game at noon (8 vs 9)
