Weaver always said it was a safety issue, but the walls of Lane seem so far from the playing surface to me. I know that Kevin Jones took that one dirty hit years ago, but that is the only time I've ever seen a player get remotely close to the wall.

I've seen other stadiums where the wall is extremely close to the field (ND and Tennessee are two that I can think of).

I think it would look extremely cool to add Hokie Stone.
