Or the 50s and 60s now those were the days VT in 1965 was

a place of change.. the campus, society as a whole, the entire nature of the school. Cassell opened the year before, Lane opened in 1965. new dorms over where Vawter is.. new Architecture building moving on up! A real push to increase number of female students...... we began the move from an Institute to a University (no negative reflection on the Institute part, that is our heritage)
