Did he actually blow the whistle on a rape....or just help someone in need?


Anything Bowles can say about the rape would be hearsay. He might be a witness to the woman's condition immediately after, but FOR BOWLES and what happened to him, it's not about the rape.

He DID THE RIGHT THING. A woman was in obviously mental/physical distress, and he helped her. He took her to the hospital, got her the help she needed. Heck, it's not even clear to me if he even indicated who did it.

And for that, he's got Butch Jones calling him a traitor, putting out a semi-official 'hit' on him....that can be pretty well substantiated by player statements to police.

It's what VTVoice said - witness intimidation and cover up, even though it's not clear if this guy even ACCUSED a UT player of anything. He just did the right thing and helped a woman in need.
