last year there were 20 at large teams and 8 from big 5 conferences. Only 2 with fewer than 19 wins. ASU with 17 and Alabama with 18 wins. For 2014, there were 19 at large bids with 13 going to major conferences (includes the then Big East) and the worst at large record was Illinois at 19-14 with several others at 19-13.

we likely need to win 3 of our last 4 and get a W in the tourney. Either that or 2-2 and pick up 2 wins in the tourney. Both scenarios would put us at 18 wins and still on the bubble. I don't know enough about how the rest of the potential field stacks up but I don't love the odds as of this morning.

In any case, I hope our guys are more focused on the letters BC than NIT and also not spending much energy complaining about the schedule...
