We all assume Coach Fuente will get the offense humming soon. Adding DC level experience and knowledge to the defense will help sure it up. VT's defense has not been its dominant self for years.

I am giddy about the possibility of a top offense matched with a dominant defense. It might several years to build enough depth to compete with top 10 teams again but I bet VT can make some noise in the ACC very quickly.
