Right now, no one knows for sure. As for saying they were better in AAC than we were in ACC, I would think the level of competition should be considered. As for Galen Scott's position and salary, how good was the Memphis defense? Worth the title and 308k salary? I won't guess at it since I can't imagine what the assistant coach will actually have to do. We already have position coaches and it has been stated that Bud is in charge if Fuente is unavailable. So, my thoughts are that until we see them perform, we won't know how valuable they are. I didn't like the fact that our coaches took pay cuts while every one of the Memphis coaches got raises, but time will tell how good they are. I hope they are worth even more if it means VT is going to be much better than we have been the past few years. Only time will tell for sure.
