We all knew this year was going to be a disaster, months before the season. But, even though it was known to be coming, it doesn't change the fact that it's one of the worst recruiting classes VT has had in 2, maybe 3 decades. That coupled with the already below average level of talent makes the situation very dangerous for VT. If the 2017 class doesn't make a giant leap, then VT is toast until 2020 or beyond; they absolutely cannot afford to have 2 bad classes in a row.
