Bowl just good enough.

I know that we have had a coaching change. I know. The coaching change has not appeared to impact Georgia or Miami. We were beaten today for players that went to Maryland and Iowa State. Both of which, have new coaches.

The reality of the situation is that this is not a good day for VT football and our new coaching staff is going to have to rally from behind to recover from today.

Everyone here likes to push the argument that stars do not matter. I will say this, no team that has recruited outside the top 10 in recruiting rankings has won a national title. None in the last 10 years.

Clemson, FSU, UNC, Louisville are all consistently beating us within our conference.

Something needs to change and this staff needs to figure this thing out pretty quickly. If we are not successful very soon in recruiting better players into this program immediately, we will continue to be at best a middle of the pack ACC team and we will be thrilled by invites to Shreveport and Annapolis.

I know it is early but on the recruiting scoreboard, I am pretty concerned with where things are going.
