Don't underestimate the power of that brand. UNC is the most dangerous program to our program - historically, they have regularly hurt us in recruiting battles. That brand has been built over the years by national caliber athletic programs across their entire athletic department (and spearheaded by basketball)... and we now know that the brand is built / supported by years of academic fraud. The NCAA can't come down on them hard enough, IMO

Beyond the UNC brand, though, they have a young coach that plays an exciting style of football and he is starting to have real success - that is an attractive draw for a recruit. Contrast that with VT: Stale (boring) offensive system for years that a young out-of-town coach may or may not revitalize coupled with our new coaching staff having only been on campus for about two months. Its gonna take a while to change the image of VT's offense with recruits and Fuente's going to have to do it with less talent than UNC.
