I really wish Evans is our best QB since Tyrod, but fact is that he came from a junior college and played against players most of whom will not end up at an ACC caliber school. Successful Juco QBs are a slam dunk when they started out at an FBS school then go through the juco route, eg. Cam Newton or more recently Chad Kelly. My point is to not count Lawson out yet, there is a chance he could end up being our starting QB come fall. Either way, I really really like our QB situation going into spring ball.
