I have to commend your program & Buzz Williams in the job that has been done in Blacksburg. Prior to his arrival, VT was a doormat and a team you could put down as an easy WIN on your calendar. However, that's not the case since his arrival and definitely not this year.

I have not been to a basketball game in Blacksburg since we played up there and Dexter Strickland broke his ankle (you can imagine my heart skipping a beat when Joel Berry went down yesterday) - Since I was there last, the place hasn't changed much appearance wise. It was pretty cool to be in there with a sell out crowd. Your fans were definitely into the game, and that place was LOUD especially as VT made the comeback and tied and took the lead. I was impressed by that. As I mentioned, the last time I was there was several years ago and the fans were just there, not very interactive.

You have a great team this year, and if you guys knock out the Cards Wednesday night, that will solidify that statement. As I mentioned before, it was an easy W and a doormat team but now, teams actually dread coming to Blacksburg (that's a good thing). It's getting to be a tough place to place, tough atmosphere, and your guys are just very good! I think you will do great as the season progresses and you're definitely a tournament bound team. If you do not make the field, something is seriously messed up. Your losses don't indicate how you played on the court.

Also, your basketball fans are MUCH more welcoming and nicer than your football crowd. I don't know if it was the snow or you're just a much nicer bunch. Anyway, good luck to your Hokies the rest of the year. Y'all definitely need to keep Buzz!
