A team with enough talent sometimes is good in spite of themselves->

The margin for error for a team like VT is razor thin. We MUST get every ounce out of every guy we get, or it will hurt us on the field. 3* guys need to be starters, 4* guys need to be stars. It is that way with most teams.

When you get team who loads up on talent (and UT HAS been loading up on talent), they can make mistakes, cover up with the next 4-5* and never miss a beat. Maybe it turns out this guy can't coach, but he DANG sure can recruit.

SO, all that talent goes to your point...they WILL be a tough out, even if they squander some of the riches...

All that says I'd probably be happy with a guy who feels disrespected by a program like UT..those guys play with an extra chip on their shoulder. I'd take him in a minute...ESPECIALLY at LB.
