That's what's called anecdotal evidence. The overall trend is undeniable - have lots of 4-5 star kids on your team and a decent coach, and you will win lots and lots of football games. Lack 4-5 star kids, and you will struggle to win. Without them, you have to have elite strength and conditioning (like Stanford), elite coaching, or a gimmicky game plan (or blue turf) to get over on the more talented teams. In the long run, it's an uphill battle for those of us who aren't OSU, FSU, Alabama, etc.
