I think a lower # of scholarships will hurt us more than those guys
Those guys are getting the top athletes, and they are jumping to the NFL faster than our guys.
Programs like us right now rely on developing players, and having senior classes that are developed. A lower number of scholarships just hurts that path.
IMO, it would create more of a divide. If you want to level the playing field a bit, lower the # of years before players can leave for the NFL. Perhaps two years. Then those schools will have more turnover, and not hurt those schools that develop players.
